OUR INVESTMENT CRITERIA
SECTOR FOCUS
We are focusing our investment on businesses located in Europe and active in the following sectors: high-value professional services, healthcare services, financial services, and consumer goods & retail.
FINANCIAL METRICS
We are looking for established businesses that can generate from EUR 3m to 10m of EBITDA with deal sizes ranging from EUR 5m to 50m.
DEAL TYPE
We are looking to invest in private companies for a majority or controlling stake and are happy to partner with founders or owners retaining minority stakes.
TIMEÂ HORIZON
With our evergreen funding, we are investing for the future and are ready to support our portfolio companies beyond traditional private investment timing.

Executive partner
Jean has deep expertise in marketing, commercial operations, and transformation. Before founding Beetroot, he supported Tag Worldwide, an Advent portfolio company as a transformation manager and strategy director leveraging his prior advisory experience with Boston Consulting Group and operational knowledge managing brands for Procter & Gamble and Reckitt's.
LOIC JACOBS VAN MERLEN
Executive partner
Loic has deep expertise in digital transformation and software development. Prior to Beetroot Loic co-founded Riaktr a technology scale-up providing big-data software growing the company to EUR 6mio recurring revenues and sustainable profitability. Loic has also supported the creation of Accountable one of the latest high-growth fintech start-ups in Belgium.
